An Update From The Emerald Sleuth

After a long stretch of running The Weekly Drop, Surveillance Reports, reviews, release tracking, and everything happening behind the scenes at The Crime Scene Society, I’m taking a step back for a while.

Regular updates and recurring coverage are being paused as I reassess what’s sustainable long-term.

The archive will remain live, and I’m proud of what’s been built here over the past year, but running a one-person true crime media operation is a much bigger undertaking financially, physically, and creatively than most people probably realize.

Whether this is a pause, a pivot, or simply the end of a chapter, I genuinely appreciate everyone who read, shared, commented, or spent part of their week here.

Until further notice, the case file is staying closed.
