November’s here, and the true crime scene keeps turning; some familiar faces, a few fresh suspects, and plenty to dissect. October was a quiet month for me, with fewer posts, reviews, and updates while I dealt with some health issues, but I’m back on the case and ready to dig in again. This month’s Surveillance Report tracks the latest documentaries and limited series stepping into the spotlight as we close out the year. Here’s what’s new in true crime this November.

Death by Lightning

Killer Grannies

Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins (S4)

Eloá the Hostage: Live on TV

This Brazilian documentary revisits the 2008 kidnapping of 15-year-old Eloá Pimentel, a case that gripped the nation as it unfolded live on television for nearly 100 hours. Featuring previously unreleased excerpts from Eloá’s diary and new testimony from her brother Douglas and friend Grazieli Oliveira, the film examines the media spectacle surrounding the tragedy and its impact on those who lived through it. Ângela Diniz: Murdered and Convicted

The Carman Family Deaths

The Body in the Locker

Inspired by true events, this Lifetime original dramatization follows the CEO of a major charity who uncovers a deadly secret after her father’s death.
Among the father's belongings is a mysterious storage locker containing an antique armoire, and the body of a woman hidden inside. As the daughter searches for answers, she begins to fear the killer is still out there and that she may be the next target.

The Rocky Mountain Mortician Murder
